About the Role
We are looking for two experienced Stockpersons to
join our team at our Rockhampton processing plant to assist with the
day-to-day operations of holding pens and stock movement.
Other role responsibilities include:
General
low-stress cattle handling
Drafting
Cutting
out
Moving cattle between pens and processing plant.
Monitoring
animal welfare
Arrival
of cattle
Administration
of the animal health treatments
Maintaining
accurate daily records, such as data entry (training provided).
About You
An enthusiastic person who has a genuine interest in working
in the meat processing industry and thrives in a cooperative team




setting.
It is essential that you have the following
experience/skills:
Excellent
cattle handling skills or willingness to learn
Strong
communication skills and ability to foster a team environment
Be
able to work autonomously
Be
able to follow and comply with workplace policies and procedures
High
attention to detail
Q-fever
vaccinated (or willingness to get).
