About the role
As Sous Chef, you'll work alongside the Head Chef to run service, lead the kitchen team on the floor, and keep standards consistent shift to shift.
This is a hands-on second-in-charge role, ideal for someone ready to step up and take real ownership of a section or the whole kitchen when it counts.
Key responsibilities
Run service and lead the kitchen team in the Head Chef's absence
Maintain food quality, plating and consistency across every shift
Support rostering, stock control and ordering
Uphold food safety and WHS standards at all times
Help train, coach and mentor junior kitchen staff
Assist with menu prep, specials and costing
Step in for the Head Chef on peak nights and busy periods
About you
Experience as a Sous Chef, Junior Sous, or strong senior Chef de Partie ready to step up
Current Food Safety Supervisor certification (or willingness to obtain)

Availability across evenings and weekends
