About the role
Calvary Central Districts Hospital is seeking an experienced Learning & Development (L&D;) Site Lead and Educator to provide site-wide leadership for education, workforce development and professional learning initiatives across the hospital.
This is a part time position (0.8 FTE, negotiable) based at Calvary Central Districts Hospital, Elizabeth Vale, South Australia.
Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, you will lead the delivery and coordination of education programs, support the Graduate Nurse Transition Program (GNTP), oversee student nurse placements, and work collaboratively with managers to build workforce capability and clinical excellence.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will drive learning outcomes that support safe, high-quality patient care, accreditation requirements, and professional development across clinical and non-clinical teams.
Your main duties will include:
Lead and coordinate hospital-wide learning, development and education programs.
Manage graduate nurse, student placement and workforce capability initiatives.
Partner with managers to deliver training, compliance and career development outcomes.
About you




Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse/Midwife.
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent relevant qualification.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or working towards).
Experience in clinical education, facilitation and staff development.
Current driver's licence and ability to travel between sites.
