This vacancy has arisen due to the retirement of a long-serving team member, creating an excellent opportunity for the right person to join a stable and growing organisation.
We are seeking a Licensed Security Officer with a technical mindset who enjoys working in a structured environment where accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail are essential.
In this role, you will play a vital part in protecting client sites through alarm monitoring, incident management, and clear communication while following established procedures and industry best practices.
This position is ideally suited to someone who is disciplined, reliable, comfortable using technology, and able to remain calm and focused in a control room environment.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and respond to alarm activations using industry-standard monitoring software.
Assess events and take appropriate action in accordance with client instructions, company procedures, and legislative requirements.
Handle inbound calls professionally and efficiently.
Manage email communications with accuracy and attention to detail.
Maintain accurate records, logs, and database entries in real time.
Prepare clear and concise reports relating to monitoring activities and incidents.
Contribute to maintaining a professional, organised, and secure control room environment.
Essential Requirements
Current WA Security Licence.
Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new systems and software.
Ability to work independently while adhering to established procedures.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Fluent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in both routine and emergency situations.
Availability to work shifts of up to 12 hours on a rotating 24/7 roster, including weekends, public holidays, overnight shifts, and additional shifts when required.

Highly Regarded
Previous experience in a security monitoring centre, emergency communications centre, call centre, or similar operational environment.
Experience using alarm monitoring or automation software.
Knowledge of Contact ID signalling and alarm monitoring operations.
Understanding of the differences between a security monitoring centre and a patrol or guarding control room.
