This is not a role where you'll be confined to one particular type of work; there is plenty of variety, and the opportunity to build on your existing commercial expertise.Your matters will include:Buying and selling businessesM&A; and corporate transactionsShareholder agreements and corporate structuringTrusts and ASIC mattersFranchisingLiquor licensingMining leases and mining transactionsMortgages and loan agreementsBroader commercial and business advisory mattersYou'll have the opportunity to run your own matters with a high degree of autonomy and work directly with clients, while having junior lawyers around you to delegate to, mentor and develop.You'll be trusted to take ownership of your work and will have the opportunity to play a genuine leadership role within the team.
There are currently 2 junior lawyers who can support you with the day-to-day work, giving you the space to focus on your clients,
matters and the more strategic side of the practice.There is also a genuine pathway for progression for the right person.
As the practice continues to grow, there is scope to take on greater responsibility and help shape the future direction of the team.The culture is another big part of the appeal.
You'll be joining a friendly, tight-knit team in a great office environment where people work closely together and genuinely know one another.You'll ideally be 5+ years PQE with strong corporate and commercial experience.
