Technical Support Specialist - Network Administration - SchoolsTechnically Minded Pty Ltd – Melbourne VICTechnically Minded Pty Ltd has been providing eduSTAR.TSS (Technical Support Specialists) to the Department of Education for over 15 Years.We service Victorian Government Schools with all things relating the eduSTAR.TSS program.This role is for experienced Network Administrators and IT Support staff who have been or are confident they can provide Windows and Mac domain support as well as show knowledge in transitioning and administrating to Azure Active Directory.The role includes the requirement to provide advice, direction, and support with all things relating to the school's ICT Services provided to the staff and students.You will be required to plan, install, implement and maintain Active Directory domain controllers inclusive of the administration of User Accounts, Group Policies, and Print Services.Schools use many technologies including Library cataloging systems, Learning management systems, and Device Deployment Technologies inclusive of Microsoft SCCM, MDM, JAMF, Compass, Xuno, and many other packages.You will be required to extensively support these products, deploy solutions and maintain the schools' networks.The roles and responsibilities consist of managing the IT infrastructure within Department schools.
Administration of school network and server infrastructure and providing ICT support services to both the staff and students in large ICT-based learning environments.Essential Technical Skills RequiredAbility to manage and service Windows and Apple devices on an enterprise scaleAdministration and support of Hyper-V virtualized server environmentsAdministration of various Windows and Linux based serversEnterprise network administration skills required for administering Cisco and HP switchingAdministration of Cisco wireless network technologies,
