How you will contribute to our mission in getting Australia to space:Contributing as part of a team of Electrical Engineers to deliver hardware productsParticipating in the development of Electrical Engineering designs, processes and activitiesTo undertake accountability as a Responsible Engineer for hardware and/or software produced by the Electrical Engineering teamAdhering to and participating in product development engineering processes including: requirements definition, preliminary / detailed design, review, procurement / manufacture, assembly, integration and verification / validationConduct technical analysis, trade studies, design and sizing of solutionsSupporting investigations, troubleshooting,



modifications and fixes / repairsSupporting execution of Research and Development activitiesEngaging with external suppliers, subcontractors and stakeholdersEnsure engineering activities and documentation are conducted in accordance with Gilmour Space policies, plans and proceduresOther duties as requested by ManagementMinimum Qualifications, Skills and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant qualificationAbility to operate in dynamic, fast paced environmentsDemonstrated resilience in high stress situationsNV1 Security Clearance eligible preferred.Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experience:Experience with electrical motors, actuators, batteries, power systems, or electrical wiring interconnection systemsExperience working with industrial automation technology such as SCADA and PLCsExposure to C/C++, electronics, FPGA's, and embedded programmingFamiliarity with the National Instruments platform, particularly LabVIEWFamiliarity with HMI design.Exceptional time management, communication, and people skillsAbility to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with Engineering and Production teamsAbility to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environmentAbility to work efficiently in a team workplace with a desire and willingness to assist other team members in the general day to day running of the departmentApplicants must be an Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident or have an appropriate Australian work visa or work entitlements.Gilmour Space Technologies is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
