Brosnan Transport Australia is seeking an experienced MC Road Train Operator to join our team in based in Toowoomba.
Applications are encouraged from persons in the darling downs, western downs & Maranoa As an MC Road Train Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating A doubles and AB Triples across Queensland and beyond with our work often taking us around the country.
This role is critical to maintaining our reputation for reliable, professional transport services and meeting the expectations of our valued clients.Key responsibilitiesOperate MC road trains (multi-combination vehicles) safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and road regulationsConduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure all safety equipment and mechanical systems are in working order.Maintain accurate logbooks and documentation, including hours of work records and delivery confirmationsCommunicate regularly with management regarding maintenance items, delays, and any incidents or mechanical issuesPerform basic vehicle maintenance and cleaning to keep the equipment in excellent conditionComply with all workplace health and safety requirements, fatigue management rules, and company policiesRepresent Brosnan Transport Australia professionally at all times, maintaining positive relationships with clients and other road usersWhat were looking forValid MC (Multi-Combination) driving licence with current Drivers medicalMinimum 3-5 years' experience operating road trains or A doubles.
Livestock experience highly regardedClean driving record with no major traffic infringements or safety violations.
