What we do
The Application Infrastructure branch is responsible for the provisioning and support of underlying applications and databases that support the agency's critical services.
This includes performing ongoing maintenance to ensure vendor support and stability, providing incident investigation and performance analysis using advanced monitoring solutions.
About the roles
We are recruiting across two technical roles:
1. Mainframe technologies
2. Environments / non-production platforms
ICT Technical Engineering Experts manage and maintain ICT platforms, including design, configuration, deployment, security and operations.
Technical Engineering Experts use deep platform knowledge to deliver reliable, secure and high-performing systems.
They provide authoritative technical advice, support strategic direction and lead the management of complex technical environments.
At the EL1 level, the role operates with a high degree of independence, setting priorities, managing outcomes and influencing decisions in line with business objectives.
The role leads staff, drives improvement and contributes to broader organisational outcomes.
Both roles require leadership and management skills.
Lead a team to increase performance and engagement through coaching and capability development.
Lead and evaluate operational practices to ensure continuous improvements; contribute to strategic planning.
Effectively engage with, and communicate technical information to internal and external stakeholders with varying technical understanding and literacy.
