I'm working with a leading professional services firm in Canberra looking for a Business Services Manager who wants greater responsibility, stronger client exposure and a genuine opportunity to progress their career.You'll work closely with experienced Partners and Managers across a quality portfolio of privately owned and growing businesses, with the opportunity to take real ownership of your clients and play an important role in developing the team around you.The opportunityManaging a portfolio of quality SME and privately owned clientsReviewing financial statements, tax returns and compliance workProviding tax planning and business advisory supportWorking directly with business owners and key decision-makersReviewing work and providing technical guidance to junior team membersIdentifying opportunities to add value beyond complianceBuilding and maintaining long-term client relationshipsWorking closely with Partners and Managers on complex client mattersSupporting the development of junior and intermediate accountantsThe role is designed for someone who wants to be more commercially involved with their clients while continuing to develop their leadership and technical capability.About you5+ years' Australian public practice experienceStrong Business Services and Tax experienceExperience managing a portfolio of clientsCA/CPA qualified or close to completionStrong technical accounting and tax knowledgeExcellent communication and client relationship skillsExperience reviewing and mentoring junior team membersA genuine interest in progressing further into leadershipWhat's on offer?
