About the role
We are seeking a Sales Assistant to join the team at Clark Rubber Tweed heads.
This is a casual position based in Tweed Heads NSW ****.
As a Sales Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales across our retail environment.
You will be the face of our brand, helping customers find what they need whilst creating a welcoming and engaging shopping experience that keeps them coming back.
What you'll be doing
Greeting customers warmly and assisting them in finding products that meet their needs
Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale systems
Maintaining product knowledge to provide informed recommendations and answer customer enquiries
Stocking shelves and displays, ensuring merchandise is organised, well-presented and clearly priced
Handling customer queries and complaints professionally, resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction
Keeping the sales floor clean, tidy and compliant with health and safety standards
Supporting promotional activities and participating in visual merchandising initiatives
Working collaboratively with team members to achieve sales targets and store objectives
Following company policies and procedures, including cash handling protocols and loss prevention measures
What we're looking for
Strong customer service skills with a genuine passion for helping others
Excellent communication abilities and the capacity to build rapport with diverse customers
A positive attitude, reliability and punctuality, even in a casual capacity




The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions and cash
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends if required
Prior retail or customer-facing experience is advantageous but not essential for enthusiastic candidates
Willingness to learn about products and company policies
