We are looking for an experienced Quality Control (QC) & WHS Manager to join our team, based at our Kooragang facility with responsibility across three operational sites.
This is a hands-on role with responsibility for ensuring our Quality Control and WHS processes are effective, consistently followed and continually improved across the business.
The successful person will work closely with our operational teams, maintaining strong standards across quality, safety and compliance while also managing our existing ISO certifications.The RoleKey responsibilities will include:Ensure QC processes are effective and consistently followed across all operational sites.Identify gaps in QC and WHS processes and implement practical improvements.Conduct internal QC and WHS audits and ensure corrective actions are followed through.Monitor quality issues, non-conformances and corrective actions.Maintain QC procedures, inspection checklists and associated documentation.Conduct workplace inspections and monitor WHS compliance.Manage incident, hazard and near-miss reporting and investigations.Maintain WHS registers, risk assessments, SWMS and compliance schedules.Maintain and monitor test & tag, calibration and other required compliance schedules.Coordinate WHS inductions,



toolbox talks and relevant training requirements.Maintain existing ISO certifications and coordinate external and certification audits.Support continuous improvement across Quality Control, WHS and compliance.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will ideally have:Minimum Certificate IV in Work Health & SafetyPrevious experience in a Quality Control, WHS, HSEQ or similar rolewithin a manufacturing environment.Robust practical Quality Control experience.Sound knowledge of Australian WHS requirements.Experience with ISO ****, ISO ***** and ISO ***** management systems.Experience conducting internal audits and managing corrective actions.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.The confidence to identify and address areas where processes are not being followed.A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to spend time within operational areas.The ability to manage responsibilities across multiple sites.A current Australian Driver Licence.About the OpportunityThis is an opportunity to take ownership of an important function across a growing manufacturing business.
