Our client, a large Government organisation are seeking an Change Manager to join their team.

This role requires a high level of self-leadership skills and experience in the provision of advice and management of change management issues to stakeholders, senior management, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure projects and initiatives meet objectives, focusing on the people side of change by preparing, supporting, and equipping employees to adopt and use changes, while anticipating and minimizing resistance.

2. This position does not involve direct supervision of staff.

Selection Criteria:

1. Qualifications in in change management, principles, methodologies and tools or a related discipline (business, IT, Human Resources) is highly desirable.

2. High-level written communication skills and highly developed oral presentation skills and proven experience supporting the design,



development, delivery and management of communications.

3. Experience in planning, prioritising and organising work for self and others to achieve goals and meet deadlines, including dealing with competing demands and managing multiple change programs and tasks in a complex workplace.

Desirable Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in organisational change management roles, including experience in government sector would be highly desirable.

2. Demonstrated extensive experience managing change and people, including effectively implementing changes to business processes, systems and technology.

3. Extensive knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain a high-level of customer trust and confidence.

On offer is a 6-month contract, at a highly sought after Government organisation, with a highly competitive hourly rate.
