The Role

- Lead the development and delivery of internal and external communication strategies
- Shape and protect the organisation's brand, voice, and reputation
- Manage media relations, stakeholder communications, and public messaging
- Oversee digital channels including website, social media, and newsletters
- Partner with senior leaders to support strategic messaging and organisational priorities
- Drive engagement campaigns that connect with tenants, partners, and the wider community
- Manage crisis and issues communications with clarity and confidence
- Mentor and guide junior team members or external agencies where required

About You

- Proven experience in communications, PR, or corporate affairs (ideally within housing, government, or not-for-profit sectors)
- Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences




- Confident working with senior stakeholders and providing strategic advice
- Experience managing media relationships and navigating complex issues
- Digitally savvy, with a solid understanding of content and channel strategy
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities
- Passion for social impact and contributing to stronger communities
- A team-oriented team player who brings both creativity and sound judgement
