Dual Trade Electrician / Telecommunications Technician
Commercial Data Centre Project
We are currently seeking skilled Electricians and/or Telecommunications/Data Technicians to join a major commercial data centre project. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile, technically complex build with a strong pipeline of work in Canberra, ACT.
About the Role
You will be working on commercial-grade electrical and communications installations within a data centre workplace, delivering work to a high standard while adhering to strict safety and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Install cable tray, catenary wire systems, and associated containment
- Read and interpret construction and services drawings
- Carry out basic electrical wiring and communications works
- Work autonomously on site while following clear instructions from supervisors
- Ensure all works are completed in line with project specifications and WHS requirements
About You
- Ideally dual trade qualified (Electrician & Telecommunications)
- Proven commercial construction experience (data centre experience highly regarded)
- Comfortable working independently and unsupervised
- Able to take clear direction and work as part of a wider project team
- Strong ability to read and understand plans and schematics
- Solid understanding of basic electrical wiring principles
- Must hold a current Electrical and/or Communications licence
