Inventory Advisor â 12-Month Contract (Perth)

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Advisor to join our Warehouse, Inventory and Logistics function on a 12-month contract, based in Perth. This role offers the chance to play a key part in improving inventory reliability, visibility, and cost efficiency within a complex operational environment.
You will be responsible for inventory analysis, optimisation, and master data governance, working closely with internal stakeholders across supply chain, operations, and projects.

> About the Role

> Key responsibilities include:

> - Demonstrating a sound understanding of end-to-end materials management processes, systems, risks, and controls
>
>
> - Maintaining the MRP process, including analysing and quantifying MRP data and taking appropriate action
>
>
> - Ensuring inventory additions are processed in line with established policies and governance standards
>
>
> - Analysing and optimising inventory settings using approved optimisation tools
>
>
> - Identifying inventory risks and implementing appropriate mitigation and control measures
>
>
> - Conducting aged inventory reviews and identifying materials no longer required by the business
>
>
> - Supporting timely resolution of inventory-related issues
>
>
> - Performing ad-hoc and on-demand analysis as required
>
>
> - Ensuring MRP and master data settings remain accurate and aligned
>
>
> - Optimising inventory levels to reduce waste and improve supply reliability
>
>
> - Processing master data requests in a timely and controlled manner
>

> - Building strong working relationships and maintaining open communication with key stakeholders
