About the role: The MMS maintenance team has an opening for a critical support role.
Supporting the GM of Maintenance, the Field Service Coordinator is a key resource in our maintenance team.
The largest part of this role is the coordination of our internal field service team as well as preparing and distributing job scope packages ahead of each mobilisation to our mining projects throughout WA.
This is executed through effective team rostering, planning and constant communication across site and head office teams.
Your organisation and attention to detail will coordinate personnel, mobilisation of new projects and ongoing support of our maintenance teams on site.
This is a serious role - maintenance is a key function of MMS.
With a large and growing fleet of production mining equipment, we need great people in our team.
West Perth based - Monday to Friday Key role coordinating mechanical support labour and supporting a large maintenance team Working with an established team in a growing company Key responsibilities: Run and maintain a crew of FIFO field service mechanics working closely with site and HO management Prepare and distribute job scope packages ahead of each mobilisation Raise purchase orders and coordinate parts requirements with the procurement team.




Source, track and organise field service tooling, and align tooling dispatch with the mobilisation schedule.
Coordinate field service rosters through demobilisations, shutdowns and labour-gap periods, and provide relief cover during R&R; cycles.
Plan and execute labour and tooling for machine mobilisations and demobilisations, confirming skill requirements with supervisors.
Coordinate workshop-infrastructure projects — trade contractors, costing input, asset and tooling registers, and demobilisation / asset reallocation.
Liaise with site and plant managers on job planning and logistics, and keep site teams updated through key milestones.
Escalate operational, welfare or accommodation issues promptly for resolution.
About you: Coordination or scheduling experience in mining, resources, heavy industry or civil.
Excellent organisation, communication and stakeholder-management skills under pressure.
Experience coordinating crews and rosters, ideally in a FIFO environment.
Confidence raising purchase orders and working within a procurement system.
Understanding of site access, inductions, PPE and site compliance requirements.
Desirable A trade background or business / operations administration qualification.
Experience maintaining asset and tooling registers.
Exposure to workshop builds, shutdowns or infrastructure projects.
