About the Role
ACC Group is looking for an experienced and reliable Truck Driver / Yard & Logistics Coordinator to join our growing team.
This is a hands-on role supporting our formwork and concreting operations across multiple construction sites throughout Perth, while also helping to keep our Henderson yard organised, safe and operating efficiently.
You'll be responsible for transporting materials, formwork, plant and equipment between our Henderson yard and various project sites, as well as assisting with the day-to-day movement, organisation and maintenance of equipment within the yard.

About the Position
This isn't simply a truck-driving position.
You'll be responsible for supporting our site teams by ensuring materials, formwork, plant and equipment are delivered where they are needed, when they are needed, while also helping maintain an organised and efficient Henderson yard.
Your responsibilities will include:
Transporting formwork, construction materials, plant,



equipment and machinery between the Henderson yard and various Perth project sites.
Operating heavy vehicles safely and responsibly in accordance with WA road laws and company requirements.
Loading and unloading construction equipment, materials and machinery.
Safely securing and restraining loads before transportation.
Transporting items such as formwork, excavators, skid steers, compactors, attachments and other construction equipment.
Coordinating with project managers, supervisors and site crews regarding deliveries and collection requirements.
Completing daily vehicle pre-start inspections and reporting any defects or maintenance issues.
Ensuring trucks, trailers and equipment are kept clean, safe and in good working condition.
Maintaining delivery dockets, inspection records and other required transport documentation.
Assisting with the organisation and movement of equipment within the Henderson yard.
Helping keep the yard clean, tidy, accessible and safe.
Assisting with loading and unloading activities and general yard duties as required.
Checking equipment coming into and leaving the yard and reporting damage, defects or missing items.
Assisting with the preparation of plant, equipment and materials for upcoming projects.
Working with the construction teams to ensure equipment and materials are available when required.
Participating in toolbox meetings, site inductions and safety discussions.
Following ACC Group policies, site requirements and workplace health and safety procedures.




Carrying out other reasonable duties associated with the efficient operation of the yard and construction projects.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is reliable, practical and takes pride in their work.
Ideally, you'll have:
A current HR licence or higher.
Previous experience driving heavy vehicles in a commercial or construction environment.
Experience transporting construction materials, plant or equipment.
An understanding of load restraint and safe transportation practices.
Good knowledge of vehicle pre-starts and basic vehicle inspections.
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
A reliable work history and good attendance.
The ability to work independently while also being part of a wider construction team.
Good communication skills and the ability to work with site supervisors, operators and project managers.
A positive, can-do attitude.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
The physical ability to assist with general yard and loading/unloading duties.
Experience in formwork, concreting or construction would be highly regarded.
