Trinity College is seeking a passionate and innovative Digital Technologies Teacher to join the College for a 12-month fixed-term appointment commencing Term 1, ****.
The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic educator who is committed to being part of a strong skilled team and is able to teach Digital Technologies across Years 7–10.
Strong subject knowledge, excellent organisational skills, a commitment to contemporary technology education, and a willingness to contribute actively to the co-curricular life of the College are expected.
The capacity to teach one or more of the following would be highly desirable:
Computer Science ATAR
Media Arts – Years 7–10
Robotics – Years 8–9
As the Digital Technologies Teacher at Trinity College, you will inspire students to develop their creativity, problem-solving and digital literacy through engaging and contemporary learning experiences.
Teaching Digital Technologies across Years 7–10, you will deliver high-quality teaching and learning that supports improved student outcomes while fostering curiosity, innovation and a passion for technology.
You will develop and deliver engaging learning programs that provide students with opportunities to explore coding, computer science, robotics, digital design and emerging technologies.
You will encourage students to become confident, creative and ethical users and creators of technology, while developing the skills required to navigate an increasingly digital world.
The capacity to contribute to Computer Science ATAR, Media Arts and/or Robotics would be highly valued and would provide opportunities to contribute to the broader Digital Technologies and co-curricular programs of the College.
Essential Criteria
A strong commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education and a willingness to promote and support Catholic values within the Trinity College community.
A minimum four-year tertiary qualification, including appropriate educational qualifications.
Current and full registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA).
All applicants will be required to undergo relevant EREAC and legislative screening procedures, consistent with the College's commitment to child protection and safeguarding.
