BDO's Business Services team partners with clients to help them grow, succeed and achieve their strategic goals.
We work with a diverse portfolio of emerging businesses, established corporate groups, privately owned organisations, and high-net-worth individuals and family groups across a broad range of industries.

Key Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing Business Services team.
This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your technical expertise and advisory capabilities while working closely with clients and experienced leaders in a collaborative and high-performing environment.
In This Role, You Will
Prepare financial statements in accordance with accounting standards,



regulatory requirements and financial reporting obligations across a range of industriesPrepare income tax returns and related compliance work for companies, trusts and high-net-worth individualsAssist with tax planning initiatives and provide advice on business operations, tax matters and regulatory obligationsDeliver business and tax advisory services, including business structuring, performance improvement and growth initiativesBuild and maintain robust client relationships through proactive communication and high-quality service deliveryCollaborate with Managers and Partners to provide practical solutions to client challengesSupport, coach and mentor junior team members to assist with their professional development
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Experience within a professional services or public practice environmentA genuine interest in business advisory and taxation servicesStrong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish credibility with clients and colleaguesWell-developed analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesExcellent attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approachProgress towards, or completion of, CA or CPA qualificationsExperience using APS and/or Xero (desirable)
