Randstad Recruitment are currently looking for an Electrical Technician for our client who is a major Australian-based provider of advanced mining equipment, technology, and safety services
Details:
Location: Canning Vale
Pay rate: $55 + penalties
Role Type: Ongoing role with opportunity for permanency
Hours: Monday - Friday, 6.00am to 2.30pm, prospect for some overtime and some Saturday work
Start: ASAP - pending interview and medicals etc
Duties:
Diagnose and repair electronic components including IGBTs, contactors, exciters, rectifiers, and other control system modules.
Perform detailed fault-finding and testing
Conduct re-manufacturing processes in accordance with OEM specifications and internal quality standards.
Use schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to guide repair and testing procedures.
Operate test benches and diagnostic tools to verify component functionality.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts usage, and test results.
Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve repair processes and component reliability.
Adhere to safety, environmental, and quality standards in all work practices.
