About the RoleWe are currently seeking candidates with experience and expertise in Carpentry to plan, develop and deliver training and assessment to students in this study area.
As a lecturer, you'll play a key role in teaching, supporting and assessing students in line with the relevant training package requirements.
You'll also take part in skilled and delivery‐related activities, keeping your industry knowledge current so you can provide up‐to‐date guidance to both the College and industry partners.
Required Qualifications & Experience To be eligible for employment applicants must hold a Trade Certificate III in Carpentry (or higher) or equivalent and have a minimum of 5 years working in the area of expertise.
To deliver accredited VET training, the minimum qualification required is the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE*****, TAE***** or TAE*****),
or a secondary teaching qualification with an Assessor Skill Set (TAESS*****, TAESS***** or TAESS*****).

South Regional TAFE will support the successful candidate to enrol in an approved qualification, begin training promptly and make steady progress toward completion within two years of starting.
