Based in the Adelaide Hills, Deviation Road is a small family run winery specialising in the production of premium traditional method sparkling wines as well as barrel fermented and aged chardonnay and pinot noir still wines.
We are currently looking for a vintage casual to join us for the **** harvest.
Reporting to the winemakers this position requires an effective and hardworking individual with an eye for detail to work in a small team to achieve timely and quality focussed cellar related tasks in the winery.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Grape harvest logistics
Press operations
Juice and wine transfers and rackings
White and red fermentation management
Barrel operations
Forklift operations
Maintaining winery cleanliness and hygiene to the highest standard
Minimum three years vintage experience
Australian License to Perform
High Risk Work (Forklift License)
Current Driver's licence and the ability to drive manual vehicles
Flexibility to work throughout the week including weekends
Applicants must have Australian citizenship/residency or a valid existing Australian work visa.
