Join our Insurance team as a Claims Officer - Liability Claims.This is a permanent full-time role open to applicants based in Brisbane.Join Suncorp as a Claims Officer supporting our Liability Claims team, where you will manage a portfolio of commercial liability claims from lodgement through to finalisation.This is a hands-on customer focused role where you will balance great service with sound decision making, ensuring claims are progressed fairly, accurately and in line with policy requirements.
You'll work closely with customers, intermediaries and key stakeholders to deliver efficient, cost effective and timely claim outcomes.What You'll DoManage a portfolio of commercial liability claims from lodgement through to settlementBe the primary point of contact for customers and intermediaries, providing support and guidance throughout the claims processAssess claim information, review reports and make fair, informed decisions in line with policy requirementsWork closely with customers, legal representatives and other stakeholders to progress claims and achieve positive outcomesNegotiate settlements and identify opportunities to deliver cost effective claim resolutionsResolve customer concerns, manage competing priorities and ensure claims are progressed efficientlyMaintain accurate records and contribute to a high standard of compliance and customer serviceWhat You'll BringExperience in a customer service environment, ideally within insurance, financial services or a claims-related roleExperience in a customer service, insurance,
