We're partnering with a well-established, values-driven organisation seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their team on a contract basis.
This is an immediate start opportunity, suited to someone who can confidently step into a hands-on, end-to-end payroll role and hit the ground running.
The business is flexible on full-time or part-time (0.8) for the right candidate and offers a collaborative, supportive environment with strong work-from-home options.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end fortnightly payroll processing
- Managing onboarding, contracts, and terminations
- Ensuring payroll compliance, reporting, and statutory lodgements
- Processing superannuation, leave entitlements, and reconciliations
- Responding to payroll queries across internal and external stakeholders
- Completing payroll reconciliations and supporting month-end reporting
- Supporting payroll system maintenance and process improvements
About You
- Proven experience in end-to-end payroll (standalone or lead role)
- Hands-on experience with Employment Hero (essential)
- Strong working knowledge of the SCHADS Award (essential)
- Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and accountability
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Confident working independently while partnering with the broader team
