Great Fixed term opportunity for an Accounts Officer looking for a challenge within an Innovative Organisation

Your current company
Hays are proud to be partnering with these innovative, forward thinking, movers and shakers in their field. Their award-winning team is expanding and growing across multiple industry sectors and so a position now exists within the finance team for an experienced and driven Accounts Officer. This position is being offered on a fixed term contract with full time hours, and is located just South of the city.

Your new role
Will report into the Admin Manager and will be responsible for the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions within the finance team, along with;

- Managing the accurate processing of Subcontractor payments and working closely with the contractor management team
- Maintain and manage customer relationships
- Accurate and timely preparation of invoices and credit notes as and when requested on an ad-hoc basis




- Accurately record all accounts documentation including filing and archiving according to company policy Generate ad-hoc query reports from the financial management system as requested
- Perform various EOM reconciliations for both the payable and receivable functions
- General day to day admin duties

What you'll need to succeed

- Intermediate user of Excel with demonstrated experience of date analysis
- Excellent IT skills, Microsoft Office programs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to take ownership and problem solve
- Well presented and a good team player
- Pronto, Salesforce experience highly regarded but not essential
