plastering and carrying out minor painting worksPressure washing and general cleaning of external areasMinor carpentry and general handyman tasksMinor plumbing maintenance, including clearing drains and repairing leaking tapsMowing, weeding and general grounds maintenanceInspecting doors, windows, fans, gates, fencing and other building componentsIdentifying potential maintenance, safety and presentation issues before they become bigger problemsAssessing issues and providing information to assist our office team with contractor quotes and escalationsWorking alongside specialist contractors and other TMS team members when requiredMaintaining a clean, safe and professional work environmentCompleting maintenance requests within required timeframesProviding transparent updates, photos and job notes through our maintenance systemThe Person We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who is reliable, proactive and takes genuine pride in their work.You'll ideally have:3+ years' experience in general maintenance, handyman, building maintenance, property maintenance or a similar hands‐on roleStrong practical skills and confidence using hand and power toolsExperience across a variety of maintenance tasks rather than specialising in just one areaA good eye for detail and quality workmanshipThe ability to identify problems and think through practical solutionsA proactive approach — you notice things that need attention rather than waiting to be toldGood communication and customer service skillsThe ability to work independently and manage your time effectivelyThe ability to work well as part of a small teamA strong commitment to workplace health and safetyPhysical fitness suitable for a hands‐on roleA current manual Australian driver's licenceHold a QLD Blue CardA trade qualification or background in building, carpentry, property maintenance, landscaping or a related trade would be highly regarded.Why Join TMS?
