This is an exciting opportunity to build hands-on experience with advanced laboratory diagnostic technologies while developing your technical and professional skills in a supportive workplace.About the RoleAs a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for maintenance, servicing and installation of cutting-edge laboratory diagnostic instruments, particularly in Laboratory Automation, Haematology and Clinical Chemistry systems.You will work directly with customers and internal teams to ensure equipment operates at peak performance, minimising downtime and supporting service excellence.What You'll Be DoingPerform installation, maintenance, and repair of diagnostic laboratory equipmentTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently on-siteSupport the rollout and integration of new equipment into laboratoriesMaintain accurate service records, reports, and inventory documentationCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver excellent customer outcomesProvide training and guidance to laboratory staff to enhance self-sufficiencyEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standardsWhat We're Looking ForA bachelor's degree in engineering (Biomedical, Electrical, Mechatronics,



or related discipline)Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to apply engineering principles in real-world settingsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearlyA proactive, organised, and customer-focused mindsetA positive attitude with the ability to perform under pressureWillingness to learn and continuously develop technical expertiseDesirable (but not essential):Knowledge of LIS systems, middleware, Linux, CAN-BUS, or interfacing principlesExperience with medical or laboratory equipmentRequirementsValid driver's licence and access to a vehicleWillingness to travel for customer support and trainingFull working rights in AustraliaCompliance with workplace health, safety, and vaccination requirementsWhy Join Us?
