GEM@Home provides hospital-level care to patients in their own homes, supporting them to achieve their best possible level of health, independence and function outside the traditional hospital setting.
Working under the supervision and delegation of GEM@Home Allied Health clinicians, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based and person-centred support to patients in their homes.
You will assist patients to work towards their individual goals and support their overall health, wellbeing and independence.
This is a varied role requiring excellent communication skills, the ability to work autonomously within your scope of practice and a compassionate approach to patient care.
In addition to direct patient support, you will assist with equipment management, resource preparation and administrative and operational activities that contribute to the effective day-to-day running of the GEM@Home service.ClassificationGrade 2 Allied Health Assistant ($70,****** per annum, pro rata for part time).
