We are seeking a skilled and experienced Spray Painter to join the team at SML Detailing in Windsor, NSW.
This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality paint finishing services to our valued clients.
As a Spray Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing paint formulations, and applying finishes to vehicles with precision and expertise.
This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence in automotive detailing and ensuring customer satisfaction with every project.What you'll be doingPreparing vehicle surfaces through sanding, priming, and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesionMixing paint and coating materials to the correct specifications and colour matchingOperating spray equipment and application tools with precision to achieve flawless finishesApplying multiple coats of paint, clear coat, and protective finishes as requiredInspecting finished work to ensure quality standards are met and addressing any imperfectionsMaintaining spray equipment and tools in proper working conditionAdhering to health and safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipmentFollowing environmental and waste disposal procedures for paint and solventsCommunicating with team members and management regarding project progress and any issuesDocumenting work completed and maintaining accurate recordsWhat we're looking forA recognised qualification or apprenticeship in spray painting or automotive refinishingProven experience as a spray painter in the automotive industry, ideally in detailing or refinishingProficiency in operating spray guns, HVLP systems,
