It is home to Fleet Support Unit South-East (FSU-SE) which conducts maintenance on ships and submarines.
The health centre provides primary medical, aviation & underwater medical, outpatients, nursing, dental, mental health, pharmaceutical and physiotherapy services.
This mid-size base has up to 4,500 members and provides services for overseas visiting personnel.




Standard operating hours are generally ********* Monday-Friday.What You'll DoWork Monday and Tuesday deliver high quality primary healthcare, including health assessments and vaccinations or monitor and manage patients in a low dependency ward settingWork collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including general practitioners, physios, mental health clinicians, and dental professionalsSupport Defence members through injury recovery, chronic condition management, and preventative careWhat You BringUnrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered NurseMinimum one year Registered Nurse experience in acute care, primary health care or military settingCurrent CPR certification (HLTAID009)Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient centred careAbility to work a 24/7 rosterThis role is primarily Monday to Friday (day shift) within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.Who We AreSerco supports governments by delivering essential services across defence, health, justice, maritime and community services.
