Aa a Dispute Resolution officer you will pro-actively assist in the management and, where possible, early resolution of disputes, ensuring positive outcomes are maximised.
This will be a permanent, full time position based in the Melbourne office, with work-from-home flexibility (up to 3 days per week) subject to performance and approval.Your ResponsibilitiesAttend Conciliation conferences on behalf of EML and actively participate in conciliation conference to facilitate timely resolution of disputesEngage with employee/employer representative prior to and after conciliation conferences about the conference process and proposed dispute resolution outcomes.Engage with the Case Manager and employee/employer representative regarding the history and nature of the dispute(s) and potential resolution outcomes for dispute.Liaise with the Dispute Resolution Team Assistant to obtain relevant claim information, arrange independent medical examinations and to obtain worker medical records as required.Consult with the Legal Specialist regarding any action that might impact any statutory benefits litigation, pre-litigated common law damages processes or common law damages claims currently on foot.About YouExtensive experience in workers compensation claims management,
