UNTIED, Barangaroo's vibrant rooftop bar, is looking for an experienced Assistant Venue Manager to join the leadership team.Sitting high above the heart of Barangaroo, UNTIED is all about tropical cocktails, great food, rooftop sessions, functions and valuable times.With a busy calendar of events and activations and spaces catering for everything from casual drinks to large-scale functions, this is an exciting opportunity for a hands‐on hospitality leader who loves a fast‐paced venue.The OpportunityWorking closely with the Venue Manager, you'll play a key role in the day‐to‐day operation of UNTIED, leading from the floor and helping create memorable experiences for our guests.You'll be responsible for:Leading and motivating the team through busy servicesSupporting day‐to‐day bar and venue operationsCoaching and developing team membersDriving exceptional guest experiencesSupporting rostering, labour management and operational performanceMaintaining strong venue presentation and service standardsManaging stock, cash and operational controlsSupporting functions, events and venue activationsEnsuring RSA, WHS and venue compliance standards are maintainedTaking ownership of the venue in the Venue Manager's absenceAbout YouWe're looking for someone who:Has previous experience as an Assistant Venue Manager, Duty Manager or experienced hospitality leaderComes from a busy, high-volume bar, pub or hospitality environmentIs confident leading teams from the floorHas strong bar and beverage knowledgeUnderstands labour, stock control and venue financial performanceIs passionate about developing people and building strong team cultureBrings energy, initiative and a genuine love of hospitalityIs comfortable working across a rotating roster including nights and weekendsHolds a current NSW RSAWhy Join Australian Venue Co.?
