Based on experienceAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead front-of-house and overall restaurant operations for an Indian Restaurant and Café.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who excels in people management, service excellence, and operational control while working closely with ownership and the Head Chef to build a high-performing venue.Key Responsibilities1.
Service Delivery, Customer ExperienceLead front-of-house service to deliver a warm, professional, and consistent guest experienceManage reservations, seating flow, table turns, and service standards during peak periodsHandle customer feedback and complaints professionally to drive repeat business and strong reviewsOversee day-to-day restaurant operations including opening, closing, and shift executionCoordinate service flow between front-of-house, bar, and kitchen teamsEnsure smooth service during high-volume lunch and dinner tradeRecruit, train, roster, and manage front-of-house staff including supervisors, waitstaff, and baristasSet transparent expectations, coach performance, and build a positive, accountable team cultureMaintain appropriate staffing levels while controlling labour costs4.
Compliance, Safety & StandardsEnsure compliance with NSW food safety, WHS, RSA,



and council requirementsMaintain service standards, cleanliness, and presentation across dining, bar, and customer areasEnsure staff are trained and compliant with safety and service procedures5.
