Candidates with limited experience who have a genuine interest in supporting the wellbeing of others are encouraged to apply, with on-the-job training provided.Reporting to the Health, Safety & Environment Manager, this role is responsible for coordinating the management of work related and non-work-related injuries, and will assist the HS&E; Manager to implement initiatives to increase the safety of employees.What's on offer?
Permanent full time role based in Maroochydore$80,000 per annum+ superannuation – IFYS is committed to gender pay equityNot-for-profit salary packaging options (package up to $15,900 per FBT year)Ability to work from home (up to two days per week) after training period is completedAnnual $250 personal wellbeing reimbursement benefit towards eligible activitiesFree access to the CALM Premium App + Flight Centre personal travel discountsAccess to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Responsibilities of the role:Manage workplace injuries, including WorkCover claims, liaising with injured workers and their managers, and return-to-work planningCoordinate and monitor injured worker rehabilitation, communicate with key stakeholders as required via phone, MS Teams,



text and emailLiaise with Workcover Queensland to ensure claims are being managed and to track recoveryProvide managers with guidance on managing non-work-related injuries and assist with employee correspondenceManage the Health Safety & Environment email inboxSupport the development and maintenance of health and safety initiativesManage the working from home agreement process, ensuring all documentation remains up to date, compliant, and accurately maintainedCoordinate and administer HS&E; Committee meetingsRequirements for the role:Undergraduate degree in relevant field e.g. Psychology, Allied Health, Human Resources or Occupational Health & Safety (highly desirable)Ability to read and understand legislation and safety information and contextualising to IFYSStrong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsA high level of confidentiality, integrity and awareness of sensitive informationSound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPointProactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamMust hold or be willing to obtain if successful:Valid Queensland Driver's LicenseQLD Working with Children Check (Paid Blue Card)Licensed Care Suitability Check (LCS2)National Crime Check (A new check will be completed through IFYS systems)Ability to provide two recent line manager references including your current employerApplications close at 5:00pm Monday 31st August ****.
