Reporting to the Financial Controller, this position offers broad exposure across accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, reconciliations, compliance, month end reporting, BAS and FBT.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong controls, and compliance across the business.This role would be particularly well suited to a candidate with public accounting experience who is looking to move into a commercial environment and gain exposure to the day-to-day financial operations of a dynamic organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesManage Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, supplier reconciliations, payment runs, and supplier enquiriesProcess fortnightly payroll and support payroll compliance requirementsPrepare month end journals, accruals,



and financial reconciliationsMaintain the fixed asset register and process depreciation journalsPrepare monthly BAS and PAYG information and support annual FBT requirementsAssist with cash flow reporting, budgeting, audits, and year end financial processesSupport the preparation of financial reports and management reportingMaintain accurate financial records, controls, and documented processesLiaise with external accountants, auditors, financial institutions, regulators, and other stakeholdersIdentify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, and efficienciesAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will bring:A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, or a related disciplineMinimum 3 years experience in an accounting or finance roleStrong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting requirementsExperience preparing BAS, PAYG, reconciliations, and month-end processPrevious experience in public practice/public accounting will be highly regarded and may provide a robust foundation for success in this roleOpportunity to work across a broad finance functionExposure to property development and construction projectsSupportive and collaborative team environmentCareer development and growth opportunitiesModern office and a values driven culture
