Temporary Assistant Accountant is needed to help a leading Manufacturing organisation through a busy period.

Your new company

They require the assistance of a temporary Assistant Accountant to support the Finance Manager and to lead accounting and related functions. You will be experienced in providing financial management, accounting, and reporting services across a busy organisation. Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Manager, you will be required to assist with all accounting operations including financial accounting tasks, balance sheet reconciliations, tax calculations, processing transactions and payments, answering queries, reporting, analysis, budgets and forecasts, month-end and year-end process and regulatory reporting. You will also assist the Finance Manager with any other adhoc duties as required.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a proven track record of success in a similar position, as a Assistant Accountant in a busy, fast paced organization. Additionally, you will have experience in financial accounting tasks, balance sheet reconciliations, tax calculations,



month-end and year-end process and regulatory reporting. You will be proficient in excel and be able to work effectively in a team but also work autonomously. You will need to take initiative in your role, adhere to deadlines, have well-developed verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, and take pride in your work. SAP experience will be essential and highly regarded for the role.
