Assistant Accountant role, paying 68k + Super, depending on experience

Your new company

This well- known Financial services company, located in the CBD, requires the services of an Assistant Accountant due to growth.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be trained up to look after the following duties, and assist, from time to time other areas of the business.

Your recent role

Your duties will include;

- Weekly Processing of AP, and Creditor master file maintenance
- Fixed Assets maintenance, reporting and reconciliation
- Corporate Credit Card reconciliation and payments
- Month end processing including journals, accruals, prepayments and P&L;
- Assist with BAS WHT and FBT return preparation

What you'll need to succeed

This role is part of a small accounting team,



so the successful candidate will require;

- Degree Qualified, and studying to CPA or completed
- Will look at candidates with some experience, that are looking to be challenged
- Strong communication skills and the ability to think of your feet
- High attention to detail and integrity
- Intermediate MS Excel skill
- Self-learner with high aptitude for problem solving

What you'll get in return

The role is paying between $65-68k + Super, depending on experience. There is also income protection and a discretionary bonus paid.
