Part Time Finance Officer role working in the heart of Hobart.
Your new company
This Not-for-Profit organisation located in the heart of Hobart is one of the leading resource management bodies for Tasmania, working closely with government with a focus on continuous community partnerships. You will be a part of a dynamic team assisting with the development of projects around environmental protection and sustainability.
Your new role
Based in Hobart, this part-time position reports directly to the Finance Manager. You will be responsible for a range of functions including:
- Payroll
- Bookkeeping
- Payment management
- Data entry and processing
You will provide finance and administrative services to both internal and external sources, including the CEO, service providers and consultants.
What you'll need to succeed
As the ideal candidate, you will:
- Have good communication skills
- Be highly organised
- Have an understanding of account management, document management, finance knowledge including AP,AR BAS and Reconciliations.
- Able to assist is with ad hoc duties when needed
- Have experience with MYOB software and be able to pick up on other systems quickly, such as Dynamic 365
- Have demonstrated experience with end-to-end payroll processing
- Be proficient in Excel
- An interest or background in the environmental, or the sustainability industry will be highly regarded
