We are seeking an experienced Finance Officer to join one of our government clients for an immediate start. You will be an integral part of the team assisting with end of financial year processing requirements.

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

- Processing asset addition journals
- Maintaining the fixed asset register
- Assisting with ad hoc analysis, journals and reconciliations
- Providing financial accounting advice

Experience Required

We are seeking applications from candidates who bring:

- Degree level qualifications in Finance, or related area, or equivalent




- Experience in analysing transactional data and making recommendations to decision makers
- High level knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
- Robust experience in appropriate financial applications, general ledger and other accounting modules in an integrated financial system environment
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited supervision and in a team environment, to set priorities and work under pressure in meeting strict deadlines
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
