Your new role
As the Finance Officer, you will assist the Financial Governance team with end of financial year processing requirements. You will also:
- Process asset addition journals
- Maintain the fixed asset register
- Assist the financial governance team with ad hoc analysis, journals, and reconciliations
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have a Tertiary qualification in accounting (or related discipline). You will also have:
- Experience in analysing transitional data and making recommendations to decision makers.
- Sound understanding of all Microsoft office applications
- High level problem solving and decision-making skills
- Working knowledge of appropriate financial applications, general ledger, and other accounting modules in an integrated financial system environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work with large data sets from multiple sources
