THE ROLE

Due to continued growth, this newly created role contributes to the efficient, skilled and high-quality delivery of financial management services to the KOR group (both Australia and New Zealand). Located in Mulgrave, you will be a key member of the Finance & Admin team and will be fulfilling a range of activities which give you the opportunity to showcase your skills.

This role will see you completing the following activities:

• Periodic reporting with Power BI and other Microsoft products;

• End-to-end Spare Parts management including, but not limited to:

• Reconciliation and verification of spare parts GLs;

• Reporting of parts and service profit margin;

• Yearly and periodic stocktakes;

• End-to-end Fixed Asset management including, but not limited to:

• Reconciliation and verification of all fixed assets GLs;

• Calculating and processing of monthly journals;

• Invoice preparation (sales, leasing, service, parts and training)



and preparation of ATO and IRD Business Activity Statements

• Weekly bank reconciliations;

• Loading of creditor payments to bank for payment;

• Research, identify & claim Government Grants & Incentives;

• Assist in the preparation of the month-end close process;

• Payroll support and completing associated statutory requirements;

• Assist in the annual budget process;

• Assist in preparation of reporting information for external accountants;

• Assist in the timely financial settlement of new and used equipment through direct contact with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate for this role will be more than just a financial professional. They will be a team player and demonstrate a technical, hands-on approach to their job along with the ability to adapt and assist the business in other areas when required. You will also have:

• A tertiary qualification in Commerce, Finance, or related field.

• A professional qualification such as CA or CPA will be highly regarded, but not essential.

• Minimum 3 to 4 years postgraduate experience.

• A natural capacity and tendency to analyse information, coupled with strong communication skills will see you succeed.

• Your decision-making approach will be based on accurate and timely analyses.

• A high level of self-organizational and efficient time.

• You will already have professional written and oral communication skills and will be confident in presenting results to an audience.

• Advanced computer software skills, including Excel and financial reporting software, with an ability to become an expert in Business Central.
