Financial Accountant needed to support the Accounting Manager within an ASX Listed business.

Your new role
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will be heavily involved in the daily financial activity of the organisation to ensure the successful performance of the department. You will have strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people within and outside the organisation. Your role will include, but is not limited to:

- Monthly financial reporting & reconciliations




- Variance analysis and associated commentary
- Analysing and evaluating financial information
- Preparation of statutory reporting
- Internal Audit procedures
- Team planning and leadership
- Process improvement

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will have proven experience as a degree qualified Financial Accountant in a fast paced, commercial setting. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail and highly organised. Audit experience will be highly regarded, but is not essential. This is a dynamic and varied role that will need a positive and determined individual with the ability to use initiative, multi-task and meet deadlines
