What we have on offer

We are seeking a Assistant/Financial Accountant to assist us in ensuring accurate and timely accounting of the Pepper Money Limited business. The successful candidate will take ownership of key account reconciliations and play a major role in our external reporting responsibilities including preparation of statutory (ASX, ASIC) and trust deed financial statements, prudential reporting (APRA), and tax compliance obligations. The role will perform these activities across Pepper's corporate and trust entities.

Responsibilities:

- Ownership of all accounting, reporting and reconciliation requirements of assigned sections of Pepper's corporate and trust entities
- Prepare assigned balance sheet account reconciliations and maintain necessary supporting documentation
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements for Pepper Money Limited's corporate entities and trust entities
- Assist in the preparation of prudential reporting forms for lodgment with APRA




- Assist in the coordination and management of the external audit process (financial statements, AFSL, APRA). Respond to inquiries and provide support to external auditors as required.

What we are looking for in you:

You hold a degree in accounting and you're ideally CA or CPA qualified. You have proven to be self-motivated, driven, highly organised and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You pride yourself on your excellence in attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and possess strong reconciliation skills. You are known to have the ability to remain calm under pressure whilst also possessing sound judgement and decision-making skills. You are a high performer who operates well within a team environment. You have the ability to deliver high quality work whist maintaining turnaround times.

You are able to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to provide exemplary levels of service to both internal and external customers. You are a team player and will form part of the existing positive department and company culture.
