One of Australia’s largest operators of healthcare services are looking for a Financial Accounting Manager to join their group finance team. This private equity backed business is passionate about delivering high quality care based on respect, accountability and trust. Their offices are situated in Parramatta’s CBD.
Position
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will have ownership over the group’s consolidated financial reporting, governance and controls, month-end close, journals, reconciliations, supporting of the budgeting/forecasting process, management of cashflow, tax effect accounting and compliance, and assist with external audit requirements. This role also has a solid focus on processes and systems improvement, and people leadership. You will partner with various divisions in the business and cultivate strong stakeholder relationships internally and with external advisors.
Profile
You are CA/CPA qualified and Big4/Second tier trained, and/or from a commercial background.
An experienced manager with strong technical understanding and experience around consolidated reporting and tax accounting. Tech savvy and across various systems and ERPs. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, Xero, and Advanced Excel skills are essential.
