The Opportunity

Superb opportunity to join an exciting pharmaceutical microcap and Melbourne success story. With the bulk of their revenues generated overseas, this is an exciting and complex Financial Controller role, as you consolidate and manage the ASX listed reporting requirements. In this broad position you’ll also be responsible for FP&A; and providing commercial analysis for sales and operations. It’s a great role if you’re seeking to learn how a business really runs, while still having the prestige of working for an ASX listed company.

You’ll have teams in the UK and Canada, so the ability to attend weekly calls in the early morning / early evening is essential. Flexibility is of course offered.

The Challenge

Reporting to the CFO, some of your responsibilities will include:

- Overall responsibility for the preparation of financial results and meeting reporting deadlines including Board reporting
- Reviewing monthly consolidated financial statements, including reporting of actuals v budget to key stakeholders of the Group
- Facilitating the budgeting and forecasting process for the Group
- Managing Group cashflow, including preparation of quarterly ASX reporting,



maintaining group cashflow forecast and approval of weekly pay runs
- Full ownership of the external audit and review process for the consolidated group
- Preparing interim and annual statutory financial reports for the consolidated entity, including the applicable note disclosures and full compliance with IFRS
- Day to day running of the finance function including strategy, systems and processes
- Managing a local team of 2

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

- CA/CPA qualification with Audit training
- Relevant experience as Finance Manager or Controller in a agile environment
- Strong financial analysis skills, problem solving and analytical skills
