Our client is a global mining company with its Head Office based in the CBD. They are now looking for a Financial/Management Accountant to join their team for a 6 - 8 month contract, with the possibility of extension/permanent. You will be given training and mentoring and your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Joint venture accounting
- End of month processes
- Capital project reporting
- Monthly and quarterly reporting
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Variance Analysis
Ideally you will be CA/CPA qualified, have large company experience, preferable within mining, joint venture accounting an advantage as is SAP or another large ERP. This is a fantastic prospect to join a leader in its field and a high likelihood that this role will go permanent.
