Job Description

This is a broad role requiring strong hands-on technical accounting and tax skills. The role will be an integral source of support for the Director, Finance and Strategy in ensuring tax and transfer pricing compliance in both Australia and North America, as well as with monthly transfer pricing and intercompany settlements, ad hoc management reporting, assisting the preparation of annual financial statement, liaising with external auditors, ensuring compliance with internal controls and corporate governance.

- Supporting the Director, Financial Reporting and Strategy in the overseeing the transactional accounting function for the Group to ensure financial reporting requirements are complied with.
- Undertaking and leading timely and accurate completion of month-end tasks, including completion and review of relevant balance sheet reconciliations.
- Liaising with Finance business partners during month end process and audits to ensure business alignment.




- Preparing and managing direct tax matters with the help of external tax advisors for both AU and NA region.
- Preparation of transfer pricing models monthly.
- Preparing and overseeing group’s intercompany transactions and complete intercompany reconciliation.
- Overseeing lodgement of BAS, FBT, PAYG Instalment and ABS Surveys.
- Liaise with the ATO and State and Federal revenue offices as required
- Assisting with Income Tax Returns and R&D; Tax Incentive for the Group (AU and US tax jurisdictions).

Qualifications

- Tertiary

qualifications

in accounting/business/commerce
- CA/CPA qualified required
- Approximately 5 years’ experience in an accounting or finance related field with exposure to tax and transfer pricing essential
- Strong AASB and ASIC knowledge
- Big 4 experience viewed favourably
- SaaS or subscription business experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with accounting systems (NetSuite, Zuora, Salesforce helpful)
