Role Overview

Location: South Yarra, Victoria (Work from home on Tuesdays and Fridays)
Employment Type: Full-time
Position: Mortgage Broker (Minimum 2 years’ mortgage broking experience required)
Salary: $100K + super + performance-based bonus (Leads provided)

Your Responsibilities:

- Assess and analyze clients' financial situations to determine creditworthiness and borrowing capacity.
- Prepare comprehensive credit reports and provide recommendations for mortgage approvals.
- Negotiate with lenders to secure the best mortgage products and rates for clients.
- Guide clients through each step of the mortgage application process, educating them along the way.
- Maintain accurate documentation throughout the loan process.
- Identify recent business opportunities, actively marketing our mortgage solutions.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to build and sustain long-term client relationships.

What We're Looking For:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Mortgage Broker or Credit Analyst, preferably in banking or financial services.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and assess potential risks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.




- In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, lending criteria, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Highly organized with keen attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Essential Skills:

- Demonstrated experience in solution-based sales.
- Self-driven with the ability to generate leads and build a strong referral network.
- A proactive approach to identifying and pursuing recent business opportunities.
- Prior experience in mortgage broking or lending, with a deep understanding of risk assessment and mitigation.
- Strong analytical thinking with excellent presentation skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Professionalism, situational awareness, and high-level client service.
