Senior / standalone payroll officer for a service provider in Southern Sydney

Your new role
- Processing weekly and monthly payroll runs for 300+ employees within 7 different entities across 4 small to medium payrun cycles
- Maintain personnel data
- Assist managers with timesheet approvals
- Process any prompt wage adjustments, terminations and payment of bonuses and incentives
- Prepare and provide weekly and monthly management reports as requested
- Calculate pay, tax, super contributions via EFT or cheques
- Respond to staff enquiries regarding pays, leave, and related matters
- Responsible for liaison with Centrelink and maintaining compliance
- Liaise with managers regarding award payments and general HR matters
What you'll need to succeed
- Knowledge of Payroll and T&A; systems
- Familiar with pay runs for different entities
- Ability to build rapport with all levels of the business
- Ability to work in standalone environments
- Knowledge of superannuation, tax
- Great communication skills
- Ability to do manual calculations
- Comfortable going into the office more frequently than working from home
